About
Interact Club is a club at Mira Mesa High School that is dedicated to serving the community and promoting anti-racism. We participate in community service events such as cleaning up schools and working at walks, fairs, etc. While helping at these events we hope to contribute to brighten the environment and benefit the community.
History
With the support from a senior friend Jereme Umali, Interact Club was founded by a bunch of freshmen lead by Henry Quach and Jason Chang in the middle of June 2008. During the summer of that year, these founders planned meticulously for the opening of their club the following semester. During the summer of 2009, Interact Club was offered to be sponsored by the Rotary Club of La Jolla New Generations by Patti Garcia. Currently, Interact Club’s sponsor for the 2010-2011 school year is Amanda.
